Itinerary

Day by day

The return on day 2 takes 7 to 8 hours by road; you arrive in Lima at night.

Day1

Lima – Ballestas Islands – Huacachina – Nazca

We pick you up at your hotel in Lima at 5:00 a.m. and travel by tourist transport to Paracas, with a stop for an optional breakfast. In Paracas you board a speedboat to tour the Ballestas Islands: you see the Candelabra geoglyph and hear theories about its origin, along with sea lions, Humboldt penguins, and seabirds in their nesting areas.

Then you continue to the Huacachina oasis, a lagoon surrounded by palm trees and dunes, where you ride a dune buggy across the desert and try sandboarding. Afterward you visit a traditional pisco winery to learn about its artisanal production, with a tasting of pisco, wines, and macerados. At the end of the day you take a bus to Nazca, where you spend the night.

Day2

Nazca Lines Flight – Lima

At 7:20 a.m. you are transferred to the Nazca airfield for the flight over the Nazca Lines. From the air you see geoglyphs such as the Monkey, the Spider, the Hummingbird, and the Astronaut, drawn into the desert floor.

After the flight you have free time for lunch. In the afternoon you begin the return trip to Lima, about 7 to 8 hours, and arrive at night; the service ends with the transfer to your hotel.
