Cusco – Vinicunca – Cusco

We pick you up very early at your hotel in Cusco's historic center, between 4:30 and 5:00 a.m., and travel to Cusipata, where you have breakfast before continuing to the starting point of the hike.
From there you start the climb to Vinicunca, the Rainbow Mountain. Along the way you see high-altitude landscapes, mountains, alpacas, llamas, and local communities, with the snowcapped Ausangate in view. At the main viewpoint, at 5,100 m, you have time to enjoy the view, rest, and take photos.
Afterward you hike back down to the transport and return to Cusipata for a buffet lunch. The tour ends around 4:00 p.m. near Cusco's historic center. On a private tour, the return can be arranged to your hotel door.
