A Trip to Cusco with More Comfort

Cusco and Machu Picchu can be experienced in many ways. In this section we bring together trips for those who prioritize comfort: higher-category hotels, more relaxed timing and attention that accompanies you from the moment you arrive until you leave. The route is still the one that makes the region special: the city of Cusco, the Sacred Valley of the Incas and the citadel of Machu Picchu.

In the listing you will see the full itinerary and what is included.

How We Customize a Luxury Tour

Each tour is quoted to fit you. You can choose the hotel category, add nights in the Sacred Valley to rest at a lower altitude, adjust the order of the excursions and request private services where available. If you travel as a family or group, we can also offer you our private colonial house in Urubamba, with capacity for up to 14 people and the option of a private chef on request.

If you prefer to hike without giving up comfort, in the Machu Picchu section you will find the Luxury Inca Trail and the 4-day Luxury Lares Trek, with glamping in luxury tents, gourmet meals and a night in a boutique hotel in Aguas Calientes. And if you are looking for private transportation throughout the trip, look at the Cusco Premium package in the Cusco section.

When to Travel

May to October is the dry season, with clear skies and the highest demand of the year, so it is best to book several months in advance, especially higher-category hotels and Machu Picchu tickets. Between November and April it rains more, but there are fewer visitors and the landscape is green.

Altitude and Trip Pace

Cusco is at about 3,400 m above sea level. A well-planned tour leaves the first day free or with gentle activities and schedules the higher excursions, such as Vinicunca, toward the end. If you like, we can adjust the itinerary so that you sleep the first nights in the Sacred Valley, which is lower.

Tell us how you like to travel and we will send you a proposal with itinerary and hotels.
