Uros and Taquile
We pick you up at your hotel around 7:30 a.m. and take you to the Puno port to board the boat. First you reach the floating islands of the Uros, built from totora reed. Your guide shares their life, history and traditions, and you have free time to walk around, talk with residents and see how they make their crafts.
Then you sail to Taquile Island, where you spend about three hours. You have fresh trout for lunch at a local restaurant, then walk through the island's streets, visit craft workshops and talk with locals, known for their textiles. In the afternoon you return to the Puno port, and we take you to your hotel.
