7 Lakes of Ausangate
Breakfast
At 4:00 a.m. we pick you up from your hotel, and you travel about 3 hours to the village of Tinki, where you can buy anything you need for the day. Then you continue 45 minutes to Pacchanta, where you have a hearty breakfast before walking.
From Pacchanta the hike of about 5 hours begins, past the Otorongo Macho, Otorongo Hembra, Puka Cocha, Alka Cocha, Q'omer Cocha, Azul Cocha, and Pata Cocha lakes, with views of peaks such as Ausangate, Mariposa, Pucapunta, Caracol, Jampa, Tinki, and Qayangate. When you return to Pacchanta, you can relax in its hot springs. The tour ends in Cusco around 6:00 p.m.
