At 4:30 a.m. we pick you up at your hotel in private transport and take the road toward Puno, through Chuquicahuana and then Sangarará, where you have breakfast. From there you continue to Quenteqocha Lagoon to prepare for the walk, along an almost flat path with gentle climbs and descents between lagoons.

The descent to Waqrapukara takes about 40 minutes. There, the guide explains the site and you have time for photos and rest. Back in the vehicle you have lunch (a vegetarian option is available) and return to your hotel in Cusco. In total the tour takes about 13 hours.
