Flights Lima – Arequipa and Cusco – Lima are not included. The Colca, Puno, and Rainbow Mountain are at high altitude.
On arrival at Lima airport, our representative will meet you with a sign and take you to your hotel. Then you take a city tour of Miraflores and San Isidro, passing the Financial Center, El Olivar Park with its colonial-era olive grove, and Huaca Pucllana, an adobe ceremonial center of the Lima culture.
Overnight: Lima
You fly from Lima to Arequipa, the White City, named for its buildings of sillar, a light volcanic stone. In the afternoon you take a private city tour that includes a visit to the Juanita mummy, the Inca maiden found on the heights of the Ampato snowcap.
Overnight: Arequipa
You travel by road from Arequipa to Chivay, the main town of the Colca Valley and the base for exploring one of the deepest canyons in the world.

You tour the Colca Canyon, habitat of the Andean condor, then continue across the altiplano to Puno, on the shore of Lake Titicaca, where you check in at your hotel.

We pick you up for the Puno port and a boat trip on Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world. You visit the floating Uros islands, built and renewed with totora, the reed that sustains its residents' way of life.

You travel from Puno to Cusco along the Ruta del Sol, a route between lakes and mountains that links the Titicaca altiplano with the Cusco valleys. You arrive in the former capital of the Inca Empire.

You have the morning free to rest and acclimatize. In the afternoon you take the Cusco city tour; its historic center is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

You tour the Sacred Valley, the Urubamba River valley that served as the granary of the Inca Empire thanks to its fertile land. At the end of the day you take the train to Aguas Calientes, the town at the foot of Machu Picchu.
Overnight: Aguas Calientes
You spend the day on a guided visit to Machu Picchu, the Inca citadel recognized as one of the New Seven Wonders of the World and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Afterward you return to Cusco.

You take the excursion to Vinicunca, Rainbow Mountain, in the Andean highlands south of Cusco. Its colored stripes come from minerals in its sediments, and it is one of the best-known hikes in southern Peru.

You take the return flight to Lima, where our services end.
Machu Picchu tickets and Inca Trail permits are issued through the Peruvian government in each traveler’s name (full name and ID or passport number) and must be paid in advance. Once issued, they are non-refundable and non-transferable. See cancellation terms

No. The Lima – Arequipa and Cusco – Lima flights are not included. Contact us and we will quote them with the tour.
The route climbs gradually: Arequipa, then the Colca and Puno on the altiplano, then Cusco. Rainbow Mountain comes last, when you are already acclimatized.

With 45 days or more notice, 70% is refunded; between 30 and 44 days, 50%; with less than 30 days or no-show, no refund. Machu Picchu entrance tickets are non-refundable once issued.
