Moray, Maras and the Salt Pans
At 8:00 a.m. we pick you up from your hotel in tourist transport and head through the mountains toward Moray, in the Maras area. There you walk among the circular terraces built into a natural canyon, which the Incas used as an agricultural laboratory, and learn about their functions.
Next you pass through the town of Maras, with streets and gateways in Spanish colonial style, and end at the Maras salt pans, with more than 3,000 salt pools that local people still work. At the end we take you to the center of Cusco (or to your hotel on the private service).
